Details

Miles Franklin was an Australian writer. Her best known work, My Brilliant Career, was published in 1901. Franklin worked with the women's and housing movements in the USA and England and was active in the Australian literary scene through her support for the journals Meanjin and Southerly and her involvement with the Commonwealth Literary Fund.
