Details

John Carew Eccles was a physiologist and Nobel laureate. He was professor of Physiology and Biophysics at the State University of New York, Buffalo from 1968 to 1975. Earlier he was Professor of Physiology at the Australian National University (1951-1966) and was awarded the Nobel Prize for medicine in 1963 (jointly). Eccles was a member of many societies and organisations including the American Medical Association/Education and Research Foundation and the Institute for Biomedical Research, USA.
