Event Opening of St Hilda's College (11 April 1964)

Established as a residential college for women, St Hilda's College at the University of Melbourne was opened by Prime Minister Robert Menzies on 11 April 1964. At the opening ceremony, Menzies was presented with a bunch of thistles and a copy of Georgian Architecture in Australia.
